SBR rubber is the base material for most synthetic rubbers. It has wear resistance, aging resistance, water resistance, low price, not easily deformed at high hardness, not resistant to strong acids, ozone, oils, greases and hydrocarbons.

SBR rubber is a copolymer from butadiene and styrene, with the formula -(-CH2-CH=CH-CH2-CH(C6H5)-CH2-)-n
